noob with a HobbyKing Turnigy 9x

Hi guys. i bought this Tx a while back now purely because it was cheap, and seemed to be the ultimate value.

straight up, ive never used anything like this before ever, and after looking through some of the threads in the hobbyking forum, its all like a different language :(

my first problem is that im not using it in a flying RC. more so, a Motor on axle scale truck.

i think ive worked out how to set it so i can run both axles, motor and steering independantly, which is fine, but first thing i would like to know:

is there a way that i can run both axles off one channel, so they both drive together forwards or backwards, and have the other stick apply braking/dig to the rear axle? both ESCs will each have their own battery, and obviously be run on separate channels.

second Q, is i want to use a servo/winch on one channel.

can i set it up so that one of the toggle switches turns a channel on/off and then route it through one of the pots for forward/backward speed? so, like turn the pot 60%, then flick the switch and have the servo run at 60% speed, then flick the switch off, move the pot to -60%, flick the switch and have the servo move in reverse at the same speed??

i really dont know if it will work like this but it doesnt hurt to ask.

i currently have it set in glider mode, which seems to be the best for what ive managed to work out by watching youtube, and searching the web/forums.

thanks.
Klampy.
