hello all. Thinking about buying this motor with his esc. Going into an ax10. All i want to know is does the Holmes Hold provide instant lockup of the wheels when trigger is let go? I dont want any creep. I had read that 5 slot armeture drag brakes were weaker than a 3 slot. Any info is appreciated

You don't need to worry about your motor spinning with holmes hold engaged...

I have this motor with a HH BR-XL. I will say this, at full throttle and let go of the trigger, it stops dead in its tracks. And if the tires get a good grip it will often end up doing a stoppie.

I've got a 13t in my Axe with an FXR and it does not lock up totally on steep climbs or descents. With a BRXL you will have no issues with that though. Great combo. |
