venom amp esc??

I have a venom amp 80 esc (approx 3 months old). When running it today for about 20 minutes it lost signal and went out of control with the tires turned left in full throttle. Lucky for me it flipped over. Has anyone ever had this problem?
It did this twice.
If anyone know what the problem is please let me know.

Like you stated, sounds like it lost signal.

driving too far away.
batteries in controler dead
crappy rx/tx

Thanks for your input. However, both times that this happened i was only about 7 to 10 feet away from my wraith, and after the first time it went out of control I put brand new batteries in it. The only thing I can think of is that my ESC has some sort of malfunction. I just got done looking at all my electronics and it is all wired correctly. let me know if you have any other Ideas on this?

Its either the radio/receiver or the ESC.
Sounds like a radio issue to me, but I have seen a ESC fry in a very weird way like this.

Find a friend or some spare parts to play with and track down the issue.

hey man! maybe try to see if it is the radio/reciever..... switch out the reciever & radio from one of your other rigs & drive it around for a hour or 2....
