im running the roc 3100 with a mamba max pro on 3s with 12t pinion and 60t spur with wraith axles and a 9lb rig and love it tons of wheelspeed no heating issues and gobs of torgue.definately a good motor

Running a 3100 kV and rs pro on a wraith on 2s. Very smooth even with my setup which is geared a little more towards speed. No issues at all and I have my drag brake turned up pretty high.

I'm running the ROC 3100kv in my Wraith with 12/58 gearing on 2s and 3s. It does that knocking if you are just a touch off neutral. I'm also running a Traxxas ET-3S (MMP rebranded) and it's great.

There's an entire thread dedicated to the ROC 412 motor with lots of reviews and comments on it's performance.
