Default Hitec hs5646wp twitching

So I drove my truck through some water and fried the receiver. I water proofed my spare and installed it. I put it in and it works, but when I try to steer to the left after steering from the right, it will twitch and slowly twitch its way left. is it a binding issue? is a bec needed?

for that little servo you probably wont need a BEC but it cant hurt, only 20 bucks and well worth it. may even stop the gliching

Ok...... Here we go...... You just posted a motor issue and left that info out..... Sounds like you have a lot more of an issue than just the motor or just the servo.....

Ya need to re group, and start at the top. First the 3channel rx from flysky has been said to be water proofed from factory. I have had no issues with mine near water. So un plug everything and check through each component. Make sure rx is lighting up it is bound.... Then go and check calibration on esc..... Then see if motor runs. If not check what Eddie said and run small batteries to motor and see if it runs. Or check with volt meter. Other thing is , is there a bec involved? Check servo for water inside..... Yadda Yadda. Many things can happen due to water. Starting at the top will find you the component that is fried or giving you issues.

Also never used that servo myself but have heard that its really not all that good. Not sure if its just the 180 oz or internals. I use 7954 and 7950s and water proof myself.

Alright, I took apart the servo, and there was no water. I put some marine grease in it and it's not twitching any more. but the motor is still not working.
