Exclamation CLAW winch help.

Hey guys. I've been looking for over 30 minutes for a answer. I've found multiple threads and sites that have some basic info on the winch, but nothing but "Plug and play" info on the controller. Ive got a CLAW winch coming with the controller. My question is, will it work with my non-hacked Flysky gt3b? Right now I have a Heyok controller on one of my other rigs with a 3R winch. Will the stock CLAW controller work just like my Heyok controller with the GT3B? Or will I need to order another Heyok controller?

I'm pretty sure it works the same way as Heyok's 3 position controller.

You can't go wrong with the HeyOK controller, he has one for 2 position switch radios.

Edit: Here it is...

Winch Controller for Radio with 2 Position Third Channel

Edit#2: After re-reading, you may already have this one?

I use a GT3B myself.
just set up the 2 pos switch for neutral and spool in. then you only freespool out and wind in. works great.

I have the winch mounted and all wired up with a Heyok 2 pos controller. I've had 3-4 of these controllers now and I can vouch for the quality.

It is not the winch is self you have to worry about with 3 cell, its the controller. I've ran a 3 racing and rc4wd winch on 3 cell with great results using a HV heyok controller.

If your running the HV heyok controller you'll be fine with on that side. you'll probably wear out the motor quicker running 3 cell, but It will give you more speed.

Guys, the HV controller is good to 2S voltage. 3S will kill it!

To run 3S, get the 4 amp relay output winch controller:
Winch Controller - Relay Driven - External Power
