| Servo Programmer...best $50 I ever spent
Just purchased the Hitec HPP-21+ and it has to be the BEST $50 bucks I ever spent in this hobby. Many years I have battled the servo throw in search of MAX steering....I have finally achieved MAX steering without using an oversized servo arm. Hitec servos come with a factory default of 100 degrees, with this programmer I have been able to adjust the throw to 180 degrees.. BEFORE the programmer... 4pk with Hitec 7950 EPA 120 max both right and left AFTER the programmer 4pk with Hitec 7950 EPA 65 right 70 left with more throw than I know what to do with Setting a Hitec Digital Servo to 180° travel - YouTube check out this video |

I will be trying smaller clamping arm soon..but really this is a huge break thru for me in gaining throw..posted this for all the others that have been frustrated with the FACTORY throw from Hitec

CRAWLER-DAD was kind enough to program some servos for me this morning. All I can say is WOW!! Simply amazing. The programming took less than five minutes. Finally I can max out those Dlux shafts! Thanks for figuring this out. |

Although I agree with the idea of using all the throw available, it is not always easy, or even practical. At least that my 2 cents.

I agree, the programmer has made life easier fo sho. Do yourself a favor and ditch the clamping horn. You can get a simple Hi Tec horn or a Air Wild horn and they are stronger and lighter. |

How far are you taking the throw? You lose movement and torque, force at a rod end, near the end points that far out. Sent from my PG86100 using Tapatalk 4 |
