Default AE-2 ESC no forward/reverse or red led

I have an SCX10 RTR that i got back in september. I was running it the other day and it ran great, got done and put it away. I went to run it tonight and I have no throttle. The steering works, but no throttle. The motor works (hooked it direct to my battery) but no throttle. When I turn it on, i get the start up beeps with the red and green light on but then the red light goes out and the green light just strobes. I tried to recalibrate it but it won't even do that. When i move the throttle there is nothing going on on the ESC. I have adjusted the throttle 'zero' on the AX-3 so may times I had to hit neutral at one point but still no go. Any ideas on what to do next? I dont have any spares or places to test the esc so that is out of the question. Bummed cause I wanted to do a little crawlin tonight.

Plug the esc into the steering channel on the receiver and turn the steering wheel to see if it works. I had the same thing going on and it turned out being a throttle trim adjustment on the TX that had gotten bumped.

Steering works great with the throttle control...ESC does nothing with the steering wheel though

THanks for the input though...didnt think to test that way.

Based on this..... Castle Creations | FAQ: 1/10th Scale Products
Do the following....

Throttle trim (and sub trims) to "0"
Throttle EPA's to 100% (both directions)

Try it out and then get back to us.

The link I provided allows you to see what the LED's mean, "LVC" was not one of them.

Also make sure your TX batteries are good.
