Help novak ballistic crawler 18.5t

Help I have a novak ballistic 18.5t motor. it wont turn easily. its smokin my esc. Anyways the bearings are ok does any one know if these could be rebuilt. Or if some magnetic issue can happen like the armature going bad???
issues
esc over heats to shutdown. tried different motor and its fine. No torque almost impossible to turn bearings are great.
esc is havoc 3s I bought them as a kit

Your motor is toast. Just a hunch. Whatever you replace it with, run it before you buy this time. It used to shock me when effers sold electronix they new were junk, but doesn't anymore. Sad really. & oh ya, stay the hell away from novak too. That esc will probly poof next. Good luck.

It was fine when i bought it used it for a year. I thought these were rebuildable tho i just cant find much info thought someone might have some experience with these. The esc did poof once had a month of warrant left got lucky there.
Maybe ill just buy a tekin rx8 sytem

u say junk you mean junk or hit an miss i just traded a sv3 an some stuff for a MMP which i wanted the most but the guy threw in a 13.5 novak

Get a tekin RS, I have had good luck with my 13.5 Novak motor, but I didn't like my Novak esc much at all.

have you pulled the motor apart yet? could be the rotor came apart had that happen to my 4.5 motor there are only a few parts to that motor rotor stator timing plate and bearings just sent e mail to charlie to have him chime in as well my stuff is at novak for repair so I had his contact info

yes i pulled it apart i didnt see anything out of place. no cracks smooth bearings stator looks fine. I cant turn the shaft with a gear on it. I need a pliers. then it snaps around. with the esc hooked up it spins really slow and jerky. Its almost like the magnets are pushing too much. my savage flux motor turns easier.
