The Sidewinder 3 isn't a sensored ESC so you can't use it with sensored motors. However, the Sidewinder 3 ESC can be used with brushed motors in a crawling setup. It is waterproof. | |

| Re: castle creation It is going to depend on what rig you have and what you want to do with it. For a brushed setup the waterproofed HH BR-XL esc and TorqueMaster Expert or Pro model is really nice. 35T or 27T for a crawler. You can buy them as a combo. Holmes Hobbies LLC For a fast high power setup that has good low end speeds for crawling, then a Castle MMP and a Tekin Roc412 3100. However, this setup will require lots of upgrades to the drive train. |

If you intend to run brushed this sv3 would be fine for that. I wouldnt recommend it running brushless unless your running a high turn motor like I do with mine. I run mine with a 21.5t crawler motor and it actually does very well, but that would also make your truck very slow. the Holmes hobbies brxl would also be another good brushed option, with there 35t motor that would give pretty good speed as well. If you want to go brushless you need to have something sensored like a mamba max pro, or a tekin RS and just about any of the motors out there are good. I have had good luck running novak ballistic motors, but have been thinking about joining the 4 pole world one of these days. good luck, there are tons of options out there. |
