Default Differences between lipo and life Batteries

From the little bit I read so far the life batteries are a bit safer. Anyone have a link or two? I'm ready to buy some new batteries. I wonder if there are better choice to go with. ThanksHave a good turkey day

Life batteries are lower volts per cell compared to lipo (3.3v/3.7v) plus they have a lower discharge rate than lipo, unless you buy some very high end life batteries but certainly not worth it. Lipo batteries are very safe...no need to worry about them. Just use a decent charger and you're good to go.

LiFe, or LiFePO4 (Lithium Iron Phosphate) as is the correct term, are 3.3V/cell and relatively low output compared to LiPo.

Their main advantage is that they can be stored fully charged, and are therefore the best option for use in for example radio transmitters (where regular LiPos should be avoided).

Yes. Life battery is safer than lipo. especiallt its long range, I have a friend using the LiFe E-bike battery, the cells discharged to 1.8V per cell as its BMS was broken. but the battery is still Ok. but it make no sense for RC...although the lipo will get into the fire if you discharge the lipo to 1.8V/cell.

Actually, the life battery do not have much of advantages, first it only have 3.3V per cell. but the Lipo is 3.7V. and the discharge rate is not quite competitive. it is not powerful.
