Default Binding Airtronics MX-V to Receiver

I'm trying to bind an Airtronics MX-V transmitter to a HPI RF-11 receiver. Tried instructions from both the radio and receiver with no success.

Receiver says S-FHSS on it. Is this not possible to bind?

Doesn't sound like a match.. My airtronics will only bind to airtronics rx's.. And kopo or something like that (but they are more expensive then the airtronics rx's..

That's what I was afraid of... Airtronics receivers are about half the price of the MX-V transmitter/receiver combo.

Any recommendations on cheap receivers that are compatible with this transmitter?

The waterproof ones are about as cheap as it gets, that I have found.. 50$

EDIT: I looked and looked and googled and read all I could read, to try and find other rx options.. But, there aren't any, that I found.

"Airtronics" and "cheap receivers" don't belong in the same sentence unless the sentence is "There are no cheap receivers for Airtronics."

The MX-V is only compatible with the RX-371 and RX-371W receivers so the best you can do is check ebay for some deal.

Baahahahaha.... Lmao! So true, so true!

The best luck I have had, was buying a MX sport with 2 rx's for 70-80$.. Throw the tx in a junk bin.. Still less then buying 2 rx's..

MT-4 with 2 rx's for 150$ and sell the MT-4 and a rx for 150$.. Free rx for the cost of shipping!

As long as the rx is fhss-2 or higher, it "should" bind.. It does on the MT-4 anyways..

Probably will end up getting another waterproof receiver.
