Default BEC and Servo Regulator

I know I can run 2 esc's together and the bec's work together. My question is can I use a novack servo regulator with 1 esc and not smoke anything. There raitings are the same. It should work, I just don't have time before the comp this weekend to get more.

I just looked at tower, and I dont see why not if you run 5-7 cells PER a esc, PER a servo reg., as it calls for!

Why not just run 1 ESC and bypass the BEC with a reciever pack? That way you don't even have to worry about it.

Because I only need a few more amps and the regulator weighs less than an ounce and a rx pack doesn't. Its going in my new 2.2 comp buggy and theres not a whole lot of room to spare. Plus I'm poor and rx packs burn up servos were bec's will cut out when overloaded.
