Default Venom 3S 50C batt. charging.

I just bought two Venom 5200mah 50C batts. I have an Onyx 245 charger and want to know what amp I should charge these batts at? 1.5, 3.0, 5.0 etc... Need help and would appreciate your help. Thanks dudes!!!

What he said. Most batts have a charge rate on them. If it says 1c charge rate then its good for 1 times the amps of the pack. So a 5200 pack is 5.2 amp 5200/1000=5.2 and 5.2*1=5.2. Also dont mix up charge rate for discharge rate. If in doubt charge 1c or less. Even on my better packs if i have time i still only charge them at 1c. I have some good to 5c but would never charge them that fast. Probably why i have so many batts.

Oh, one more question. It mentioned something about a break in period? What exactly does this mean? Should I charge at a lower rate in the early use of these new batts.?
