Brushed esc with silent mode? Im looking for something not quite as expensive as the holmes esc's with a quiet or silent mode. Not that i wouldn't want something like a brxl its simply that i don't need all the bells and whistles nor can i justify spending that kinda money on a toy that only gets pulled out 2-3 times a month to go trailing. |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? Good luck. Not aware of any other Esc with those bells, silent is unique HANG UP AND DRIVE ! |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? Any ESC that has a programmable frequency output can be made to run quiet. Just set the frequency to 16khz or higher and that whine will go away. But, since brushed ESCs are considered yesterday's tech, specialty places like Holmes is about your only option and specialty means $$$. |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? Unheard-of. Thats like finding a dewalt drill with a silencer. |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? It doesn't have "silent mode", but it is pretty quiet. It's also inexpensive and waterproof. It has a drag brake, but it's not adjustable for strength. It is the HobbyWing QuicRun WP1060. |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? duratrax de-10. its quiet. but less than 100. |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? Tekin FXR is silent, tiny size, but cost about $95...great brushed esc though. I hate the high-pitched whine of ESCs. |
Re: Brushed esc with silent mode? Not sure but seems the stock esc that came with the rtr scx10ii has been pretty quite.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G891A using Tapatalk |
