Default Will this burn my house down?

So I picked up a protek prodigy 1200w power supply. It's 60a/1200w it has two outputs on it so I could hook up 2 chargers. I have 2 chargers and both can charge 2 batteries at the same time. Could I in theory charge 4 5000mah 3s lipo batteries (5 amps each) at the same time and be good? What is my limit with this setup? Thanks guys.

Your only using 60watts of power per battery... 11.1x5 =55.5 w

You have plenty of head room

I have a 600 watt power supply that had dual outputs and I run 2 chargers off it all the time (1 400 watt dual channel and one 180 watt single channel). Usually I'm only using about 200 watts or less to run everything.

It appears to have input voltage protection, or at least it pops up a warning. If you draw more than the outlet can handle, the voltage supplied at the outlet naturally drops. At 85% it's only ~1400w, which is less than a avg hairdryer. A normal 15A outlet can provide ~1650w of power at 110v, but keep in mind extension cords will lower your limit & some outlets are on shared circuits.

I charge two 4S batteries at 10A each, which is under 500W from the wall presuming 85% at PSU and 85% for charge circuit. You'd need a high-end quad charger at full tilt to really draw a full power.

I keep my charger in a rubbermaid tub inside my garage next to the big garage door. When its time to charge a battery I just pull the whole thing out into the driveway (usually in the evening to avoid direct sunlight) This way if a battery catches on fire the only thing thats going to burn is the tub and its contents .. not the house.

This would be correct.

Another more accurate way to determine this would be; find the specs on both chargers, max amps at max volts drawn. Not just what you will run it at, but what it could potentially run up to!

VxA=W?

I am sure you will be way under 1200w though...

Are you concerned about the house wiring catching fire or the lipo battery exploding?
