Ya, something isn't quite adding up here - program card and folder, and 'brushless'? Uh, no.

As I recall, both of my 1080s came with a separate instruction page just for the programming card. Following the directions on this page did not work. Just plug it in as stated above and it should work fine.

Faulty card?

Thanks all, This comes under the heading "pay attention to what you're doing DipS**t"

It seems that this doesnt work for crap if you are plugging it into the reciever instead of the fan port

Ah yes, the port on the top of the esc - it couldn't be easier. :)

Just check for proper poles - match up your ground/black wires. Plug in, turn on esc, card lights up. Power down, remove it, re-power and new settings are programmed.

I run full low acceleration and braking to smooth out control for crawling. My buddy's rigs will do wheelies and stoppies with the trigger - I can do without that. LOL
And 25-50% reverse for 3s. I don't need it to go 10mph in reverse. I run larger pinions too, for a little extra speed. If you're not careful you'll break stuff. 15-16T

I have played with the force settings for this but that made no difference and all the normal swapping motor wires etc...was plugged into a 3s with a 55t rc4wd brushed motor. Any ideas what I've got going on?

Calibrated it yet?

I didn't see the origional message to know how long ago it was or other details. but sticking reverse could also be caused by a poorly shimmed differential.

Just an FYI

Looks like the price dropped from $41 to $33? Ordered 2 more for micro builds.

What's the voltage for medium and high cut off settings?

Ok so I'm not crazy... I just built a SCX 10.3 with the HW 1080 and a DX5C and this thing wheelies and stoppies...and I cant seem to feather the throttle enough to crawl ...it seems very on and off.... Advice I what I should program?

Im running 3S Ace Adventure shorty pack , Holmes Trailmaster Sport 540 35t ...its way too fast without the 2 speed...

Interesting. I have everything the same except for a HH Crawlmaster 550 12T and it’s buttery smooth. No wheelies at all. Mine was a bit hard on the brakes at first and I had to dial it back with the programming card a bit.
