| Servo recommendation for Newbie
Building 10.2 axial Cherokee and need a recommendation for servo. I don't expect to need a comp quality one right off (probably never). Waterproof is good reasonable torque (don't need to bend steel) . Have a BEC going in for other service so can use it for pwr. Thanks Roger |

There are countless threads on this in the Electronics section - this one is 31 pages long: What the newest cheap servo hotness? If you just want to get up and running, the DS3218 servo I have in my modded Ascender has been working very well powered by my HobbyWing 1080 ESC built-in BEC for about 7 months - less than $19 and includes an aluminum servo horn: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073M3X86S...2-a39805c6653b Stall Torque (5V): 19 kg/cm (263.8oz/in) Stall Torque (6.8V): 21.5 kg/cm (298.5 oz/in) Speed : 0.16 sec/60°(5V) / 0.14 sec/60°(6.8V) Operating Voltage: 4.8 ~ 6.8 DC Waterproof, Metal gears, Aluminum-centered case |
