Default HH revolver with micro x

Looking to get a 1800kv hh revolver with a micro x on 3s. Who has ran that combo and how well does it work. Coming off a 2280 slate motor. How much smoother will it be? Or will it?

The smoothness of startup will be about the same, but the feel of driving is very different. The Revolver will produce more torque.

What are you putting it in? (Possibly a Wraith, judging by your screen name?) I also have a MicroX on standby for an 1800kv 540 (non-stubby) Revolver, waiting to go in a Wraith. I've been waiting for my brushed setup to die first, but I'm getting the feeling that it's gonna be awhile with the HH Trailmaster Sport... it's already lasted longer than the 3 previous brushed motors put together! Anyway, I'd like to hear your feedback and what settings you find best with the Micro X, once yours is up and running.

No this is going in a ground up build 10.2 trail rig. My wraith I run a big power 3000kv pro4 hd on 4s. I did find a local guy here that said he was running that combo on a 1.9 wraith build.

^^^ Slow... 1 have an 1800kv on 3S in my Bomber, and have also run it on 4S.

I am fine with it on 3S, it's got enough juice to get out of trouble - but it's no speed demon.

I will be running it more on 4S in the future -just need to swap servos again (mine is powered directly by the main pack and is limiting me currently to 3S).

IMHO, you're cheatin' yourself by only pairing 2S with that low of a kv - Volt Up, and Gear Down!!!

And yes, that's taking into consideration the fact that a Bomber is heavier than a SCX10.
