Default Capra on a budget

I recently got a Capra in trade and it came with an old Novak Timbuk 2 system in it. The esc lasted a few weeks and is now dead. Thinking about keeping the Ballistic 13.5 motor and pairing with a new esc. I have a Sidewinder 3, but am afraid that the sensored motor will not like it. Is that motor worth keeping? I want some wheel speed, with good drag brake and smooth crawling.

Thinking about just adding a Hobbywing QUICRUN 10BL120 for now. Any suggestions?
