Mamba micro and HH puller stubby Just to be clear, I can remove the sensor cable adapter from the esc and plug the Holmes sensor cable directly into the esc? Thanks! Lou |
Re: Mamba micro and HH puller stubby Yes. Holmes makes that cable to eliminate the Castle sensor harness. |
Re: Mamba micro and HH puller stubby Sweet action! Thanks for the speedy reply! Now I just need to find a castle link... Lou |
Re: Mamba micro and HH puller stubby If you buy a Micro X new you should get a card in the box for a free castle link from Castle. BTW, great combo in my Capra. Micro X with a 2200kv Stubby. I run a direct power servo so the BEC limitation is no consequence to me. |
Re: Mamba micro and HH puller stubby I used the coupon from the esc to order the castle link but they are on back order like everything else :-/ I do have a buddy who is going to let me borrow his for the weekend so at least I can get up and running. I’m stoked to hear the micro x and stubby combo is solid. This is going in an scx10.3 and I have the CC BEC 2.0 to go with so I am also not worried about power needs. I don’t figure it will be stump pulling power but it should be more than enough for normal use. Hopefully we find out in a few days ;-) Lou |

I a similar setup in my capra. The micro x and PP 2200kv V2 (non stubby) I also run the HH V3 direct wire servo. It's been a good combo. |
Re: Mamba micro and HH puller stubby 1 Attachment(s) This is the most ridiculous wiring I think I’ve ever done for an RC project... my drones aren’t even this nuts, lol. Lou |
