| cant decide which battery
hi all, been looking at these two batteries and would like to know if they are any good. 1) team orion rocket pack 4500mah. 2)trinty reference 6c 5000mah. why i'm asking because i nearly brought the venom pack and was told to stay away from them. what i'm using now is dtx 4200mah. they aren't bad, i'm just seeing if there is better out there. i'm only able to buy from tower (it's a long story).was thinking of getting the intellect 4200 but they dont sell them. i want to stay with nimh. any input on other batteries would be great.. thanks in advance cheers tony.... |

Are you using it in a crawler or a basher? If you jump up to the 5000mah batteries, you'll notice a significant gain in weight, which might not be a good thing depending on location.

yup - but if your happy with the one you have now, go a head and pick up another. I'm running my WK stock now with a 19t motor and 3300mah battery packs for bashing. They usually get me a good run time around 40min each, and that is with the throttle wide open most of the time. I really see no reason in running a 5000mah nihm battery... a lipo on the otherhand. |
