Default Futaba T2PH ?

New Guy here,

I bought a futaba T2PH for a txt-1. I hooked up the servos and battery pack and receiver and nothing. I checked for voltage after the switch and it is there.
when I turn it on the servos "jump" but there is nothing when i use the transmitter.
Thanks

Default Esc

I am pretty sure i do not have an ESC i have a (according to tamiya) 3 step speed controller that is actuated by one of the futaba s3003 servos that came with the futaba transmitter. Did i fail to buy the correct parts?

An ESC is an Speed controller.you bought the whole kit with the servos and speed controller and receiver?did you read the instructions?steering servo plugs into#1 and your ESC (Speed controller)plugs into#2,than you have to set your speed control.very easy to do just read you instructions.

You may wanna look into getting a better Electronic Speed Control (ESC). The mechanical one you're using could easily overload. I use to blow those things up constantly back in the day. And that was running a Tamiya King Cab with the stock motor...

Good to see another AK'er on the board
