In this set up do you use a single motor esc then when it goes through the box it splits it into two? How would a dual motor esc work with this?

You would not use this with dual esc's.
This is what you would use in place of having dual sec's

with that dig switch and a 3 channel rx and transmitter can u hook up a bec directly to the servo instead of rx?

Uh...get two ESC's. This thread is a relic of years gone by. Great info but the home made dig switch box is quite outdated.

Sure, two esc's smashed is the status quo now, but that doesn't make this a bad setup. Especially for somebody that likes to build electronic devices and has a single esc laying around to set up something with. Put together with salvaged electronics, this could be a very budget friendly option. I personally am a tinkerer, and would build this just to do it, I think its cool, even if there is a better option available now.
