Default TC's New Fubar Skooter

I had been running my AKRCC Deimos chassis for awhile and thought it was setup very well(at least for around my area). Then we took a family trip to CO. for the Vanquish LaGuerra en Rocas Rojo event.. Although I did not care where I placed, nor did I take any driving serious(family vacation), I quickly found out that my truck was far from what I wanted and it absolutely sucked.

So as soon as I got back in town, I tore it apart and made a few phone calls..

So as any build goes, you definitely have to give props and thanks to those that made it possible.

Losi Grappler
TriState Graffix did all the paint masks to make painting so much easier
Axial Shocks that I won at the Vanquish event. Thanks also goes to Brad "Hollywood Bender" Dumont for the help on setting these up..By far, the best damn shock on the market that I had used

Since building the truck, I haven't had much wheel time with it. But all I can say is, DAMN! This Skooter chassis works very well and is very predictable..

Enough rambling and on to the pics

So shinny and new. I would hate to scratch that up.

Do those shock standoffs (top and bottom) come with the shocks?

Yeah, the 1st scratch always hurts

No. The uppers come with the chassis and the lowers are ones I had laying around.

Now that is one good looking rig ... It is so clean on the inside and the out side, it all just fits so well in the chassis. I cant wait to watch it kick my a$$ at the next.

Nice job Bro

Thanks guys, appreciate the words

The TriState Graffix masks, made it easier to paint. If not, I would be sitting here still trying to cut out paint masks Best rattle can job I have done to this day IMO. Rally Green, Outlaw Black and the SpazStick Ultimate Chrome

yes I know John, it does look vaguely familiar I just didn't have the funds to send my body off to Brian and get sprayed

Dez, hell yes it is. It does things that my last truck had trouble with

Tim, you can have fun beating the truck at any comp, as long as you have fun

Yep, its was the body that you painted for John, found here http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showt...light=grappler that mine was based from. You said you could paint me one up also, but I told you I would make a few changes, in which I did. So as I said in the PM, sorry that I didn't have the money to send to you, to paint the same thing

Looking pretty snazzy

Looks like your link geometry and shock angles are real close to what I've been running. Should be a good performer.....I think you can beat Tim with this one. Bout time to step it up eh Tim.
