| Poor QC/New Parts Issues
Ordered some replacements shafts to throw in the parts box as a "just in case". One of the short shafts in the package has the cross pin placed nowhere near straight. Is it OK to run this? Will Enroute/NewAge replace this? Any other ideas for course of action? Thanks! Last edited by brettjord; 04-26-2009 at 07:53 AM. |

Here is a pic, the shafts are were totally parallel in the pics, I think you can see the flaw fairly well. I don't NEED to run these yet, hoping I never will. By replacing it, you mean getting it replaced by manufacturer or the vendor, or just buying a new set? Thanks! |

Well, dealer told me to go to the manufacturer. They have given no response. Any other ideas? Still dont NEED this part, but would like to at least have them ready in case I ever do!

That always kills me "go to the manufacture" as a retailer they should support the product they sell... who did you get them from what was the cost?

I don't want to bash the vendor, they arent one here on the board I don't think but have been no trouble in the past. BUT, they are "the letter than comes before B"mainhobbies.com Edit - They were like 8 or 9$ I think, so not a big loss... |

| Time to deny the charge on your credit card. They will make it right, even if they don't want to.

Hmm, can that happen even if I ordered a bunch of other little things? I will try to give them one more shot before I do that.

I have an axle like that too. If you are running rear lockouts just put it back there. Take the current rear axle out and if it is nice and straight it's your new spare.
