Default Duke's HERO

Well another year goes by and I'm feeling like a change so I decided to join up with a local guy and give his chassis a run in the new season. Big thanks to Downtown Dave for the new gear. I have always wanted to try out a 40/60 rig but never had the chance till now.

In the short time I have been running this chassis I have been very surprised on how stable it performs in ALL areas. Should be a fun season.

Specs:
Downtown Delrin Works HERO 4.0 chassis, links and axle sliders
Berg axles/JP lockouts
HH 45t motors/12t pinions
Losi shocks(fr 1/4" limited), body
Vanquish Dirty Harry wheels/Bullet slugs
Hpi Rovers siped like crazy
Spektrum rx/tx
Castle MM/BEC
Punk dig switch

Pretty cool Dave. Nice build as usual. How does it compare to a zero 4.0? Any difference?

They are similar but then again not. The unload points change, it climbs a lot better the HERO just has a different feel to it. Seems to respond a little more. Like I said I was pleasantly surprised.

Nice Clean build Dave.
Looks just as good as that homebrew tasted that you made.

You bring the brew... I will bring the cup.

Keep crawling that rig, and you just Might end up a wiener again.

This is a great looking truck...problem is it performs even better than it looks with Dave driving.

Good meeting you in Donner and trying to do the same lines behind your 2.2 on Sunday. I think I might be having an itchy paypal finger to get one if these soon...

One more thing...the Axle sliders aren't on the Downtown site...can I get those ordered too?

Thanks mang it was great wheelin with ya. Give Downtown a PM he should be able to get you some sliders. Found some killer volcanic rock on the way home from Donner. I hear in Michigan this constitutes 5 comps worth of crawlin. I had to stop even though it was 100+ outside.
