Default Riddler X blue carbon "blurple haze"

Hi guys I was lucky enough to get my new riddler x last week from hulksta engineering so I began straight away .

The biggest difference with the new riddler is way the feature shock works compared to the v1 riddler I don't have to run the spring anywhere near as hard as I did with the v1 and shock oil so much thinner whilst still retaining the about the same amount of opening . the shock actually works like a shock now and with adjustable preload it's a hell of a lot better.

Chassis :Riddler X blue carbon edition

With all 3D printed part options ( haven't arrived yet )

5th shock : trf 55mm with d3 cap and a 1.9 wire spring (still playing with oil)

Ally and tittianium hardware through out

Shocks front : scx .losi mini t rears silver 35 wt

Shocks rear : scx Rc bros springs 45 wt

Tittianium links : Mr Links riddler links

Blue rpm rod ends and traxxas ally balls

Axles :

dlux super lights : fully rebuilt

Delrin centres ,Delrin tubes ofna unis and 7075 8mm rear shafts 7075 lockers .

Gears : are a mixture dlux reduction gears

, Rcbros, Rc4wd

Knuckles : dlux delrin knuckles

Knuckle weight: home made carbon fibre tungsten slug holders run low and to fit a 2piece rim

Chubs : axial ax10

Wheels and tyres : herc team rims with gold dot voodoos

Electrics :

Servo : hitec 7980

Esc: HH brxl minis

Bec: castle 10amp at 7.8 volts

Motors : brood 40t Stubbys

Big thanks to my sponsors for all the support

Hulksta engineering

Mr Links

Jaycuts

So first things first I changed out the s/s hardware for purple ally saved almost 20g then set about the fifth shock

The shock is a tamiya trf with a d3 cap traxxas ally balls a 2mm wire spring and at the moment a mix a few drops of 5000 wt oil and the rest 100 wt oil seems about right

So last night I fully rebuilt my super lights

New front carbon gearbox plates

New bearings front and rear new tubes front and rear cleaned and re greased

Sitting pretty

Today my 3D printed chassis bits arrived
Saved a couple of grams

More to do but getting there

Look around on here. This is the new riddler. The old one had 2 shocks.
Amazing design. Search for riddler builds.

Looks awesome

Video is uploading now bud I'll put it up on here when it's done .. I had one of the original v1 riddlers for the past couple of years running 1 shock the v2 had 2 shocks
Now it's back to 1 shock .. with the v1s / v2s shock location It tended to open when you didn't want it to ie. reaching for a ledge ect.
So we ran it super hard and super thick oil 60000 or so silicon oil it really only opened in V's or big binds now with the new location of the shock I'm running really soft and oil is at 100wt and it doesn't open up unless I want it too ... I'm super impressed with the new chassis and it a pleasure to drive

So a little update ...
My new weight hangers to suit dlux knuckles arrived from shapeways the other day. They came up pretty good and I managed to fit an extra tungsten slug in it and still runs on a two piece rim
