Did you modify the old one or make a new one? They are closer to the same size than I thought?

New one. This shows the difference a little better.

As you can see, no room for error. Press fit!
Slotted the holes in the clamping side and all good.

Shortened the lead wires (there goes my warranty),
reversed the steering in my radio, and it still hits
the steering stops at 140 both L and R. Perfect!

And there she is, ready for a shakedown run!

Those axles sure are set up weird. That’s a tight fit. Haha

Nice work on the servo bracket! Use anything fancy or just whittle it out?

Thanks, pretty much whittled out on a knee mill, but used CNC control to get
the radiuses right on the ends. Should’ve just left it square.

At this rate you should be putting in the servo screws as you set it down for tech in wendover.

See how you are? Build a killer rig and then stay home... A couple of us are headed down after work next Thursday, sporty will probably suck with no sleep but whatever, it would be a shit show with 10 hours of sleep too. :ror:

With this old school berg you probably didn't have a chance @ nationals. Is this the real reason you're not going?

It’s funny but I thought the form was dead but for some reason I got a wild hair up my ass and decided to check it out again. It’s really nice to see a build thread of this quality, great work.
