| Blowing Rocks and Coral Cove in Jupter
Well, having known about Blowing Rocks since I was a kid, I imagined it would be wild for crawling. I didn't know that the park closed at 4:30 It was 5:30 Well I drove back to Coral Cove, one mile south. I grabbed a couple packs, rig and remote and walked down to the beach. I hoofed it to the rocks to get pics before dark. And got to crawl for 1/2 hr. This is a place very dependent on the weather and tides. If there is even 1-2 seas, you may learn why its called Blowing Rocks. If the waves are big, you will not crawl but you will see a show. 26.980097,-80.084496 574 S Beach Rd Hobe Sound, FL 33455 Hobe Sound, Jupiter Island*8722445*Tidal Data Daily View Welcome to south Florida What else can I say; just beautiful |

Very cool, looks like it would be good as long as the water wasnt spewing from the holes. I could see myself driving there just to watch a show and getting very agrivated! Nice job on the pics, looks like a fun spot if you are local. |

I'm going to get some updated pics soon. I've talked to John, I'd like to use this as our May spot as opposed to going to jupiter twice. There will be some walking, but its not that bad, I'll get some distances soon. The crawling is way worth it. The tides for May 18 or even the 19th aren't that desirable, regardless of weather its the inlet or the beach. But I"m going to figure out waterline on the beach and see whats feasible. Jupiter Sound, south end*8722491*Tidal Data Daily View Thats the tides for Jupiter, its going to be almost exactly the same between the inlet and blowing rocks. I'm thinking about crawling there on sunday, anybody interested? |

Good job Wade, We really need more info. If all goes well, I might be up to joining you sometime this weekend. If it is possible to do it Sunday I just might make it with a video camera to show the true potential of the location. |

Only issue I see would be parking I went down the map and there is a place called Coral Cove Park with a huge parking lot just dont know how far that is from thesight, cause when I put the numbers wade put up it shows a location next to a coast guard building and it also shows like if theres a parking lot there also. here is a shop of where the numbers come up at a closer look the really good stuff is where the house's start. http://goo.gl/maps/AUJLv |
