Re: Brevard County RC crawling I know one of the Rangers that we can also use as a contact to get our foot in the door if needed but she will be leaving in a 5 weeks lol |

Re: Brevard County RC crawling We used to have a good trail at Wickham. I'm still into crawlers |

Re: Brevard County RC crawling We gotta get better organized. I'm willing to put in some sweat equity on a course. So far all I do is bash around the yard. |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling I completely agree. Itd be easier if we had a dedicated space. I know we can just go crawl in cocoa where i have a huge rock pile but i dont think we can really alter much there Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling Alright guys. Big news. I used to work at sea ray running a cnc machine. Since i know how to use them i bought a desktop cnc. That means i will be soon manufacturing parts for our cause. I need to know what needs to be improved. Im gonna start with carbon fiber chassis Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling Ive got a truck and trailer that i would be able to help move rocks and other obstacles to a dedicated spot. one of the big things i would say to make is the panhard (spelling) bar for scale truck to get the steering servo off the the axle. it is a super simple design and i could get measurements and put them in a solid works file if my license hasn't expired lol |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling Hell yea. The cnc is showing up on the 26th. I even have a local shop for carbon fiber and plexi Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling Send me a private message if you want my number. I will offer my assistance as volunteer for manual labor or whatever, I am mostly available in mornings or friday all day. This would be soo cool if y'all got set up with the park. I have been building a small crawl in my backyard and it is amazing how quickly the pile can add up! Subscribing to this thread, hoping we can keep this stirred up. |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling I had a small pile in my backyard and it came together so easily but I had to leave and it over grew but all the rocks are still there to be reused |

Re: Brevard County RC crawling Its alive!!!!!! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...ed84b676dd.jpg Finally got the cnc up and running. Went through hell finding a compatible driver for windows 10. Going to start designing parts tonight. First up is a frame for my crawler to make her a scaler Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk |
Re: Brevard County RC crawling Well that is friggin awesome! Can't wait to see your results! |
