| Ifs foff truck
I was wondering how a ifs truck does for foff. I have one I am planning to build and have started collecting parts for but don't want to go to far if it's just a bad idea.

There are a few 1:1 foff's around, and probably been some builds on here. Give it a go, could be interesting.

I am wanting to. Just wanted to know if I am wasting my time. Have a mc crawlin slow chassis that uses the exo front end and wraith rear. And have a 2200kv 1/8 scale motor that I plan to run on 6 cells with sand paw paddles on custom 1.5 wide 2.2 wheels.

That should do fine. Most FOFF's on here have solid axles but there are some IFS/solid axled rigs out there that perform really good.

You can make it work very well with A LOT of tuning of the shocks, gearing and weight balance. Keep in mind that you'll want a 60/40 balance of weight. 60% of the weight in the front 1/3 of the chassis. Also, keep your side to side weight as balanced as possible. |
