Pop this question into the scx10 section too probably more chance of an answer. |
gmade I look at what you are doing tday i am new to rcc and i see it was nov when you post this but if you didnt use the gmade parts let me know i will make you a offer on them |
let me know if you are going to sell your gmade r1 chassis im looking for one |
I did this with mine. I used honcho links for the lowers and car tie rods for the uppers. Now that I have the lengths, I'll make my own links I used the axial tranny just because it bolted right in. Finding drive shafts was a complete pain though. http://bbaxter51.smugmug.com/Other/S...t5762220-L.jpg http://bbaxter51.smugmug.com/Other/R...DSC00813-L.jpg |
Sweet I'm about to blend the same for a jeep project. What issues did you have with drive shafts then? |

My issues came with the rear drive shaft length. When I ordered Junfac shafts for a honcho, the rear was too short by about 10mm. I ended using the rear honcho Junfac shaft for the front and had to buy a punisher shaft for the rear. It's obscenely big, but it was the only shaft I could find that fit for the rear. At least I dont have to worry about breaking it. :lmao: Here's a comparison from the rear to the front shaft. http://bbaxter51.smugmug.com/Other/R...t8875580-L.jpg http://bbaxter51.smugmug.com/Other/R...t7583297-L.jpg |
