So after cleaning up the skid plate and getting rid of some sharp edges, it was time to remove the Gmade skid from the Sawback. You'll have to loosen the bolts holding the battery tray and electronics box so you can spread the frame rails enough to drop the skid.

Next it was time to test fit the plate.
All of the holes lined up fine after a little adjustment.

What's nice about this plate is that it mounts to the outside of the frame rails. No more spreading of the frame rails. Not to mention the added ground clearance.

Next, install the plate, tighten the bolts on the skid plate, battery tray, and electronics box and you're done.
As you can see I am running the Axial drive shafts. In this last photo I tried to show the clearance between where I have my ESC mounted and the joint on the shaft. Those of you running the stock drive shafts MAY have to do some trimming of the electronics plate. I did not test the clearance with a stock drive shaft.

All and all a very easy install. The ScalerFab skid plate is made well. The welds were good and the holes in the plate matched perfectly with the frame rails and the transmission. And no more skid plate hanging below the frame rails to the extent the stock one does. A test run on the rocks put a big smile on my face.
