Scx10 front bumper on Sawback?

So I got this set online tonight. I will only be using the bumper and rock sliders. But my question is what other front bumpers did you guys use? I was told it would fit. We will see.

I've seen Sawback builds with the RC4WD Jeep Raqmpage Recovery Bumper and a handful of others. Scalerfab hand-makes front and rear steel bumpers, as well as rock sliders and a skid plate, that are designed for the Sawback.

I personally use the stock metal front bumper because it is the most correct for the body. That Axial bumper you have will require the matching cross member and will probably have to stick out pretty far in front of the body, but it should work. I've seen the SCX10 sliders installed. I think you just reposition the bases a bit.

Used that bumper as well, but with the Bronco body. Rock sliders mounted there too.


No idea how it works with the stock body, never tried. Can say once I busted out the inner tabs on the chassis rails, the Axial bumper mount dropped right in.

Got it mounted up. It does sit a little far but I will prolly have a new body by the summer anyways. I'll keep it like this for now.
