Default has anyone done front mount motor/transfer case?

I was wondering if anyone has done a front mount motor with transfer case on a Sawback? Ive been searching and cant find anything. I really want to do a hard body with full interior.

I tried it but it would require a different transmission and I didn't want to go that route with the cheapness of this rig. So I custom mounted the trans flipped 180* and mounted a Mojave body with tinted windows so u can't see I don't have an interior.

I'm looking for the same thing. Have to ask Peppe from rc-crawler.it - he manufactures pretty much anything you need.

I got the stock transmission mounted up front with the motor up and over my front axle. Waiting on a hammer transfer case and blazer hard body kit to check fitment. I used the faux engine/electronics tray flipped upside down and cut up to mount the transmission. I'm sure if you spent some cash you could gather parts together to do it good, but I'm going cheap until I get the kinks figured out.

I did think too, that the tray area should have plenty of room for the transmission. And Peppe was just an idea, he always figures stuff like this out and presents a "real" usable piece, but I'm with you - bend some aluminum into place and mount the tranny on it

I will want to follow your Sawback/Blazer combo! I wanted to go that route first because the Sawback chassis is actually a great performer in my eyes. Way underrated by most.
