Default Measuring articulation

I couldnt build a thing out of wood if would save my life . But I do have a carpenters square in my shed that I use to make cut lines in aluminum and such. My question is , can I use the deg marks on ther to see how much articulation my rig has ? If so please explain . Thanks in advance -Bob

I got this: It's made with a rung every 1". You can use it to scale.

I like that ramp. Think I will build one for myself. Great Idea!
