rc4wd.com sells a nifty little kit http://rc4wd.com/shop/product_info.p...roducts_id=671 that enables you to use to stampede gearboxes (one on each end) and enables you to have 4 wheel steering...

My friend did this to get 4WD;

-Stampede Tranny case and all the gears/differential
-suspension arms for stampede (front arms so camber link pivots)
-front camber links (pede)
-new drive shafts (must be sliders to compensate for reduced a-arm length)
-Rear shock mount (pede)
-Motor (preferably the same as the one your using)

then simply assemble all these parts and you'll have a complete rear end for the pede, but with front A-arms insted of rear A-arms. The make yourself a mounting plate to fit on the front of the pede chassis (simplest design is two plates) then attach the new rear end on the front and run the steering linkages to the stock servo mounting place (you might need to buy some longer ones depending on how long your mounting bracket is) The drive assembly is mounted backwards on the front so when you hook up the electronics (whichever way you want; parallel, or double battery, etc.) make sure that the front motor is spinning the oposite way from the rear.
