|  AX10, CR-01 or something else
Hi, I plan to buy a RC truck but I don't know what to buy. I first have this Idea when I see the FJ Cruiser for the first time, but to build a FJ Cruiser for a newbie seem to be a little tricky. Then this week I see the Tamiya CR-01 FJ40 on a magazine and I find it really cool. When I look at this model on the www, often the AX10 appear as a good substitute for the CR-01 for less money. So witch one I am better to choose between these two or something else or build my own FJ cruiser. I don't really want a rock crawler, what I want is a 4x4 truck that I can bring with me in camping and play in the wood with my boy and that won't be stuck by object on the ground. I want that the truck have a decent speed. To have the ability to climb on rock is nice but I don't want that it can only do this. Finally, what I want is a truck like the FJ Cruiser, something that can do all very well  Last edited by kafou; 08-13-2008 at 07:18 PM. |

my choice are... for scale, Highlift (it's more scale than CR-01)... for rock crawler, AX10... |
