for the price they work very well.its not as smooth as a mamba.but for a beater, basher type ride they are great.

I have 2 ezrun systems, one is a 35A 3000kV, the other is a 60A 3300kV Programming them is so easy with the card (a pity my Sidewinder and Mamba aren't as easy) For the money I think they're brilliant, not as smooth as either the Castle ESC's from a standstill but with the gearing we use in crawlers it won't be as noticeable ...also, they're much cheaper on a well known online auction site ;) Kev |

how would you compare the brushed motors with a castle sidewinder to that combo?

Problem is that the baseline 3000kv system performs like a 27T stocker, not what I'd call ideal in a crawler I use the ezrun systems in my drifter/tourers and a Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster Sport 3014 1000kv in my Axial Kev |

Sensorless 1200kv inrunner? I can tell you right now that it won't work well. It won't start up in a bind, and the amperage will be HUGE when it is knocking around and trying to get going. Put a sensor on there and it would work. Put an outrunner with a higher pole/slot count and it would work. Use it as they sell it and the performance will be very lackluster at slow speeds. |

I would say not, judging from the description. Low speed control (the key to crawling) would be missing altogether.
