Very nice Jess, and I have to say your rig crawls like a spider. Nice fab work "thumbsup" |
Thanks D your not the only one. Crawlercrazy drove Vader for about 30 mins out at Auburn Hills and now wants an MOA rig.;-) He stated that it just floats across the rocks.:lol: |
MOA are hard to beat and your Vader line has always done real well on all the rocks. Can you post/shoot me some more detailed pics of your dig set up. Mine works, but I'd like to see if I can optimize it some more. |
Thank you sir.;-) And here are some pics for you. in this pic Green is ESC input, Red is front output, and Blue is rear output. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...A/dc74ee8f.jpg here are some pics with better light. http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...chassis025.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...chassis026.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...chassis027.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...chassis028.jpg As BT knows I went with a heavy duty micro switch.;-) |
Nice build thread Jesse"thumbsup" I better get on my dig set up or I'll be in a lot of trouble. Can't wait to see it in action again the 26th. Later Farmer |
For sure that was not good that your dig kept going out last weekend. We need to get out to Auburn hills more often. I'm starting to like that area more than Davisburg."thumbsup" |
Yeah Auburn Hills is far more challenging with the big old holes. |
Someone PM'd me about my links. They started out as TCS bent links and I modded them to take large revo rod ends. 8-32 drill and tap http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...A/397f2239.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...A/090880d4.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...A/024423fb.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...A/9a96becf.jpg http://i279.photobucket.com/albums/k...A/d58f98eb.jpg |
Jess, the Vader line chassis does work incredible, that is one of the smoothest rigs I have ever drove. |
I would have to agree with you.:lol::lol::lol: |
Jess, are you running yellow jato springs front and rear :?: |
Yellows front, Greens rear. When I clocked the rear axle it tipped the rear shock mounts at the axle up and away from the chassis. It caused the rear shocks to lay flatter than the fronts. So I needed a little more spring in the rear to counter the leverage.;) |
Nice Cool comp build."thumbsup" |
Thanks for all the positive comments guys I will post up more info after our next comp on the 26th."thumbsup" |
diggin it! |
