Back yard courses' Post'm

This ones mine, made mostly with broken up concrete that I get for free. Just started on it and I've got about 4-5 more loads that I'll be adding to it. Probably some more mounds as well. Figured it would be a good time to start a thread for all the different courses so you could get idea's from one thread.

That is so unfair, SOOOO unfair!

Being 2 mi. away disqualifies it as YOUR back yard course so there>>>:-(

Must be nice tho.

chrisjlittle 04-15-2009 06:42 PM

I don't have a yard, but this is only 6 or 7 miles from my house:

My pile. Mostly broken 'crete, and some rock picked up along the way. Vid on the bottom, showing scale and serious rig abuse!

Just put this together out of a friends old flower bed in the back yard with some free rocks farmers had taken out of the fields. The waterfall is functioning and was already there. Should be more rocks added this weekend.

axlesofevil 04-23-2009 06:28 PM

sorry for posting twice in a row. but do you have any pics of the underside of the table/ramps? and how did you get the bridge peices to stay together ? want to add some things like this to my yard course which is mostly made of a tree we had cut down but has a great section in the middle for a table to add some altitude/climbs

Squatch71, Metalhead and myself started to build a course after we scored some free rock. It's a good start, we'll be making some changes and adding more to it.

Here's ours, it's not real big but it's great for testing setups and getting some practice in.

Been a while since I put any pictures of my backyard. Well,it's about 150-200 yards from the house, not technically in the backyard. It's on my property though,so it could be my backyard. I've changed and added a little since the last pictures.

It's been a couple weeks of rain and I ain't been down there to crawl in a while. Someones gonna have to get busy and clean the place up. Leaves and grass are getting out of control. Eventually,it'll be one big spot. Right now it's kindly in 3 sections. I couldn't get it all in one shot,so heres a few pics of each section.

Here are a few pics of the test coarse. Once I get this past the wife I will ask for phase 2. Eventually I would like to crawl "around" the house litteraly. I am SO envyous of the rocks you guys have where you live. All I can find here in FlatAssed Florida is Coral rock od constuction debris. So I am getting free coral rock off a new roadway project close by. I looked into some rock from a landscape supply company and it was like $450 for rock and delivery.I now keep some bread racks in the back of my truck and stop to pick up random rocks along the way.Oh well maybe someday.I have added some more rock down the side of the house since these pics.
