Default 20 Dollar rock garden

Thought I would share my deal of the summer. Stopped by a job site with rocks in a pile. Just asked and got them delivered for 20 dollars. Best deal I've made all summer. :-P

Thats a steel! I have a big rock garden I put in, and spent 20 times that much! Its funny too, I drive around now watching for cool rocks on the side of the road. I often come home from mountian biking with a few boulders for the garden. Its almost as addicting as working on the trucks.

That big black rock, down in the lower left corner - I have one that looks very similar. Same color, texture, shape, even similar size, and mine is extraordinarily heavy for it's size.

Default more rocks

Since the last pic I have added two more FREE loads of rocks from people who don't want them in their yard anymore. By the end of the year I should more then enough to play on.

Default More than 20 rock garden

Well I wanted something better. I bought about 100.00 worth of foam, cement and mesh. It's almost done. I plan a little GTG when it's all done in a month or so.

Looks like a fun area to crawl in! Unfortunately, any rock garden I make will have to have some aesthetic value or it won't happen...gotta keep the wife happy and the HOA off our backs.

That doesn't sound like a rock - it sounds like an iron meteorite! See if you can stick a magnet to it...
