| 1 Rig (2) Classes Clarification
I'm looking to start Comping in the 2.2 point series as well as the Sportmans point series around my area. My question is would I be able to use the same rig (Venom Creeper) for both classes?? 2.2 Comp: Creeper w/ dig 2.2 Sportsman: I believe that I should be able to use the same rig, and just unplug the DIG servo from the receiver. Some clarification would be greatly appreciated Chris |

If both classes run the same courses its a NO. That would be considered prerunning the course which is against the rules. If the classes run different courses then I don't see a problem with then letting you. |

So what if you have 2 rig set up identically except one with dig and one without would that still be considered prerunning the course?

You can not run the same truck in both classes is the rule. Real cut and dry. Not using dig or disabling it is not making it a new truck and therefore it is the same truck. No because even trying to set them up identically there will be small differences in how it would handle. |

Yea I can understand that if it was the same course where it would be pre-running and basically could see what line is the best & easiest. Does the Sportman class typically run the same course as the 2.2 Comp??? Chris |

| Sportsman rules are club specific. Down here in SD we run sportsman and pro on the same course, but the sportsman is only the first 5 gates. The first 5 gates are set up with the sportsman class in mind, the last 5 are set up with the pro class in mind.

That would not be allowed in our club. You must pick the class in which you choose to compete.

It should be but you need to ask your club members. Then you will get the answer. There is not a sportsman class on a national level so each club develops their own rules for the best of the club. The only way you will really know is to ask the people you will be competing with. |
