| vmg scaler "Venomous LST" (BIG pics)
here's an update on my vmg scaler im building.... wheelbase- 8" mini lst motor mini lst shocks custom steering locked axles 4 cell ni-mg custom 3 link suspension: bent, drilled and tapped aluminum middle links RIVER CITY RC ball end shock relocation brackets traxxas ball ends on links: work like a charm! custom lengthened driveshafts with slip yokes IN THE WORKS... rip off the gay stickers and paint the chevy body metal cagework custom rubber fender flares CEM reduction gearbox 1:18 nylint tires and wheels pics: Ill post more pics as this project progresses. Cool, love to see VMG's get some love! I noticed, typical desk area (probably for most of us here) is a computer, CA glue, truck, radio, various bits and parts, etc! |

Try filing off the flare in the rear, I think it will look better. Or at least more even.

Thats alot of bump steer and side to side movement of the suspension. It'll look alot better with the new tires/wheels. Get ahole of unimogger, see if he'll sell you a set of TLT shocks for cheap. He's got 8 sets of them. They'll look much more scale on there. If you want a cheap way to mount your servo on the axle, all you need is the axle link mounts from a TLT kit, then do this. It involves cutting one side off the U shaped brackets, so it looks like an L. The two holes at the base line up perfectly with the brackets on the VMG axle.

I really like the mini lst shocks. They are a bit big, but they work like a charm. ive ordered some of the orange venom springs so i may put those on if they are softer. Ill also be trimming the rear fenderwell, just hadnt gotten to it yet in the pic.
