Default Traxxas Driveshaft Lengths? Anybody

Does anyone know if Traxxas #4951X shafts are longer than #1951? Maybe someone has a chart of all the Traxxas driveshafts lengths? I maybe asking too much there. LOL

I already did. Tower doesn't give any dims for the #1951's. Tower says the 4951X's are 3.07" or 78mm. So if anyone knows the length of the 1951's?

I'm not sure how traxxas measures them, but I have a set from a package of 1953's (the pro pack, 3 sets of 1951), fully compressed, measured from center to center on the holes for the u-joint I got 2.48" or 63mm. So to answer your question, the 4951x's are longer and they also use different (larger) yokes/ u-joints.

Do you know if the 4951x's will mate with an Axial Tranny or do they have 6mm shafts?

The old 2.5 tmaxx trans uses a 5mm yoke all thge rest of the e/t maxx yokes are 6mm, the problem with the yokes is that they are plastic, the set screw will not stay tight very long and it will wreck the output on your trans. There used to be someone making an output for the axial trans that would work with maxx yokes/maxx grub screws. Here's an output I made to use maxx shafts on an axial trans. I also have read that you can use wheelie king ring/ pinion stuff in the axle that will work with maxx yokes.
