| slow cycling rear suspension??? Poss Binding Problem
hey guys, i inboarded the rear shocks last night but playing around with the truck i noticed the tire doesnt drop fast enough, ie, if i'm climbing it'll just stay rigid, but if i wait, it slowly drops is that normal or is the shock that's being compressed too stiff? has that happened to anyone? |

Have you extended the rear wheel base as well??? This could put the shock in a bind, if you HAVE extended the wheel base you can shim it out with some washers between the plastic collar and the body mount. also a dab or two of liquid graphite on the shaft and inside the shock body will help, these are after all "friction" shocks. |

no i havent extended the radius arms... i'll try both your suggestions as i didnt have time last night to really take a close look at it, but the shocks seemed aligned and at first sight it just looked like the spring being compressed was too tight and that slowed down the flex |

| still not working
it still very sloppy... if i pick it up wiht my hand they work fine, but when i do it with the remote against the wall they just wont come down here are some pics of how the shocks look, maybe you guys can spot something i cant?? notice this picture, i left a lot of room in hte spacer, but if i move the shock around while it's flexed, this doesnt seem to be the problem... flexes fast enough when i pick it up by hand.... |

I had this happen to me when I inboarded my shocks too. Turns out the shock shaft and body were way cockeyed. Just did some adjusting and works great now. Matt |
