|  WK, sell it or keep upgrading?
I have a WK which has the crawler conversion and 55t motor. I really dont like the chassis so am considering upgrading it with a new chassis. Would I just be better buying a new kit? I figure the WK axles are bigger than most so I could just swap chassis and transmission to make a better than store bought truck. What would be the best for my $$, as I know the WK wont sell for much really. If keeping the WK and upgrading, any suggestions on chassis? keep it. it's different than most but not too different. almost any chassis you want to work will. i use a diablo 2.2 but that's mostly because it's not too expensive and i wanted to use the r2 dig trans. you can also make one fairly easily. cutting boards do work. there are a bunch of parts for the wk. sadly though no cvds.  |

Lil OT, but I do like me some Bacon... Be creative, win some comps with your current rig. If it limits you, then upgrade, don't just upgrade to upgrade. |

The last wk chassis I bought was rottenbelly last wk. It's a DNA pro comp chassis and it performs just great. Now I love mine but this is a chassis it's very hard to come by. I have also another wk with a dna bling chassis and it's very good. If you want to have something different and don't mind ending up spending more than a LCC would cost you than keep the king and upgrade it. It's not all that convenient but you'll have something you will be proud of. Now it's cheaper and easyer just to sell it and buy something else. |
