| Anyone still use Nylint Crawlers?
A couple years back, before they merged the Nylint forum with General Crawlers, there were quite a few of us dedicated Nylint guys.. Anyhew, anyone here still have one? If so, I could use some advice. I am looking to modify my chassis so its a little closer to looking scale. See my vids here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fPAUXUq5J4I http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T3Tr--hVMV8 I am using a Grand Cherokee body that I had to completely gut out to get all of the nylint to fit into. I would love to see any setups that retain the stock axles but use a whole new frame.. Thanks! |

Best thing I ever did to mine was a tummy tuck. Cut the chassis and raised the battery up about 2 inches. Had to modify the floorboard of the body, but it was night and day.

| Yeah, I have done a tummy tuck since those videos. You're right, it is night and day.

I got so dang into Nylints... I practically knew those trucks inside and out... But, times have changed, and I've since moved on...
