| VP Knuckles
Anyone know what the "giant difference" is between VP "Zero Ackerman" and "Hi Steer" knuckles are for the AX10. Thing is I got the Hi-Steer's off TCS (aaah confusing as to what went to what car on there ) So far I am not impressed with the "increased steering throw" as it seems to be the same as what i had before That said am I doing something wrong or, is this the case. Pics later I ask about 0 ackerman vs. hi-steer for a BTA, I know some argue you want 0 ackerman for BTA and some don't... who's right My only complaint about them has to be that on one of them my bearing (the larger one) will NOT stay in, it keeps sliding out. The other one slid in nicely, but guess this one has to be the problem child |

The knuckles will ALLOW you to get more steering. They don't just create more steering by installing them. You need CVD's or to shave the drive cups. Zero ackerman is a preference, some like it some don't. I run both on different rigs and don't have a huge preference. You can use a little bit of locktite on the outside of your bearing to keep it in place if need be |

Ok gotcha, time to throw my stuff on the lathe and work on turning it down then (the cups) I hear you, I guess its stick vs. manual in cars |

| haha my birthday's coming up, they are tempting For the time being my ground and "tapered" hubs are doing the trick, man talk about night and day, helps when you have a lathe and some creativity Working out the steering and holy cow these are nicer... heck they are also tough so need to worry about breaking em in a crawl... thats never fun |
